We start each year with a refreshed & refocused season of prayer. Join us.
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to join in with prayer in all of our local churches (follow the links on our locations page to discover more).
Additionally, we mark the start of the year with several different ways of praying together as a borough.
January offers us a unique season, a chance to reflect, refresh and refocus. Here are just some of the ways we’ve prayed in years past.

Boundary Prayer Walks
…Where we prayer walked
the whole boundary of Tower Hamlets!
We have gathered to pray the boundary in four sections throughout January. Thursday mornings included ‘Morning Prayer on-the-go’’ and the Saturday morning is hosted so that all ages can pray in creative ways as we walk.

Deanery Prayer Diary
This is a downloadable Prayer Diary (click here), giving you or your community daily prompts for prayer. We want to lift each other up in prayer and key places and people in our borough throughout the month of January.

Night Prayer Online
Each Wednesday of January at 9pm, a simple version of Night Prayer (Compline) will be hosted on zoom.
