We love to walk

In the blink of an eye, almost two months of walking and praying, praying and walking, has flown by.

We’ve traversed Brick Lane, remembering the rich history of industry and faith and refugees, praying for our modern day relationship in the world with 22.5 million refugees world wide. Remembering that Jesus was a refugee and the one who called us to love our neighbour as ourselves. Walking the footsteps of those who come before us, and after us, seeking refuge.

And onward we’ve gone to Canary Wharf. With it’s shadowed beginnings and towers of wealth, we’ve prayed into the tension of rich and poor in our borough as well as the unique community that calls Canary Wharf its home. A familiar site for the East End, and also home to 10,000 retail employees.

We meet Thursday mornings from 7:00-8:00am, continuing next to our beloved Columbia Road on 30th November:

START: Corner of Shipton St and Columbia Road, 7am

FINISH: West end of Columbia Road
